The Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Working closely with teaching staff, you will ensure that laboratories are well-prepared, safe, and fully equipped to inspire learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for science lessons
• Support teachers during practical experiments where required
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all health and safety standards are met
• Manage and organise stock, including ordering and monitoring supplies
• Assist with the development of practical resources to enhance the curriculum

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across the sciences
• A relevant degree is preferred
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
