A well-established and reputable firm of solicitors based in Watford is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy Wills & Probate department. Key Responsibilities

• Providing full secretarial support to fee earners within the Wills & Probate department

• Audio typing, digital dictation, and document preparation

• Managing correspondence, telephone calls, and emails in a professional manner

• Handling diary management, arranging appointments, and maintaining accurate records

• Preparing and filing legal documents and forms with attention to detail

• Liaising with clients, colleagues, and third parties in a polite and efficient manner

• Assisting with general administrative duties as required

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Wills & Probate is essential

• Excellent typing and audio dictation skills

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload

• A professional and client-focused approach

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
