This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career while working alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on two live student accommodation schemes.The successful candidate will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, supporting the commercial delivery of fast-paced, high-value developments from procurement through to final account.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of two projectsSupporting subcontract procurement and package managementPreparing valuations, cost reports, and financial forecastsAssisting with subcontractor payments and variationsMonitoring project costs and helping maintain budget controlSupporting the preparation of final accountsLiaising with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliersMaintaining accurate commercial records and documentationRequirementsPrevious experience within a Quantity Surveying or Assistant QS roleExperience within construction, residential, or accommodation projects preferredStrong numerical and commercial awarenessExcellent communication and organisational skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and standard QS softwareDegree qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is advantageousEagerness to learn and progress within a ..... full job details .....
