Job Summary We are a small local family owned vehicle repair garage. Im seaking a chief technician to assist me in the running of our business - the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience and be fully trained as a master technician And MOT tester would also be an advantage but not essential. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, and light commercial vehicles Perform diagnostics understanding wiring diagrams following technical bulletins candidate must have their own tools Carry out repairs to a high standard To take on mangerial roles in the absence of the present owner Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair and maintenance. Proficiency in all aspects of vehicle repairs inclulding diaghnostics Strong electrical experience is essential for diagnosing and repairing electric vehiclesExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to provide outstanding customer service. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
