Our client, an established IT Managed Services company in Cardiff work with business clients throughout South Wales, are seeking an experienced IT Field Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.You''ll be spending 2-3 days per week at customer sites providing technical IT support, and for the rest of the time you''ll be at Head Office supporting with the Technical Helpdesk.Our client have an open, honest and friendly culture, and are growing year on year so there is lots of opportunity to develop.What you''ll be doing:Provide on-site IT support to customers throughout South WalesInstalling computers hardware, photocopying equipment, and peripheral techTroubleshoot any IT errors, carrying out physical repairs and networking troubleshooting and fixesSupport with broadband installation and troubleshootingTraining and supporting customersFixing AV and POS equipment (e.g., laptops, printers, networking equipment, displays, till and card machines)Liaise with off-site technical teams to report issues or escalate supportWhat we''re looking for:Proven experience in a hands-on IT support or Field Engineer roleStrong knowledge of hardware, networking, photocopying, and AV equipmentAbility to work independently under pressure at customer siteExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsHands-on, technical and happy to support other departmentsFriendly, supportive and collaborative Salary and Benefits: Salary will be between 35-40k depending on experienceCompany car25 days holiday ..... full job details .....
