We are currently seeking an interim Customer Account Executive, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 12 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead New Revenue Streams Home Care and Personal Care businesses.
- Lead the relationship and be the day-to-day interface with key distributors.
- Collaborating to grow the business through volume forecasting, initiating orders and modelling promotions whilst supporting on HC andamp; PC initiatives with other customers in the channel, including: TikTok Shop, Amazon Marketplace and Just My Look.
- Build and develop existing and new strategic relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Work with the wider Amazon team to optimise the 1P/2P/3P strategy to maximise Amazon marketplace.
- Work with the eComm Digital Hubs to build andamp; activate online Events, launch NPD and drive core of the core activations.
- Deliver key Category initiatives e.g., Cost Price Changes, Brand Activation and new product launches.
- End-to-end Pandamp;L responsibility to deliver consistent, competitive, and profitable growth.
- Deliver Underlying Sales Growth (Turnover), Customer Profitability and Market Share growth.
- Aligning utilisation of BMI spend with business units to deliver aligned targets across Search and Display
- Deliver short term volume and spend forecast aligned to our monthly forecast process - securing the opportunities to accelerate growth and manage risks.
- Inspire the broader business teams on the opportunities and insights in the channel.
- Drive capability across the wider eCommerce team as well as driving better knowledge and understanding in the wider business.
Key Requirements
- Background of high-performance experience in sales/account management. Amazon or eCommerce account management experience preferential.
- Sharp Financial acumen to own a Pandamp;L, deliver monthly and annual business targets as well as judgement, creativity and insight to assess and build new business models.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence key senior stakeholders.
- Ability to build and lead strong external customer relationships as well as internal cross functional relationships.
- High level analytical skills alongside the ability to share insights and learnings across the eCommerce team, bringing others on the journey with you.
