Junior Programme Coordinator
You will be joining our small, passionate NGO to facilitate our educational programmes focused on Political and Media Literacy, with a specific focus on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE). Reporting to the PCVE Lead and Head of Programmes, you will be tasked with facilitating workshops in a variety of settings, as well as contributing to the design of our resources and evaluation of projects. Delivery settings and audiences can vary from students at a college/school/ PRU, as well as frontline practitioners and community members. Based mainly in London, with occasional travel around the UK (all travel and expenses will be covered). The applicant needs to be confident, punctual and passionate about political and media literacy. Location: London, with potential for some travel. Contract Duration: Starting ASAP and working full time until March 31st 2027, with possibility of extension or permanent role offer. Key Responsibilities: Facilitation of workshops across a diverse range of settings and cohorts, but primarily with young people. Recruit, coordinate and support schools and teachers across the UK to take on our political and media literacy course, workshops and projects. Update and create resources around the topics of Political Literacy, Media Literacy and Counter-Extremism Establish and maintain effective relationships with teachers, councils, 3rd sector stakeholders through our CRM system.
