Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Part Time (0.8) The School of Creative Industries at Kingston College is seeking a dynamic, proactive, highly organised lecturer to deliver exciting and industry relevant skills and knowledge to students on our popular practical vocational courses from Level 1 to Level 3. You will teach a range of specialist Art and Design skills, techniques and processes, with a specialism in digital design including being highly efficient in Photoshop and Illustrator and how this can be applied to the visual arts. You will have a broad understanding of past, current and future of the creative industries sector and be able to support students in developing higher specialist level skills and understanding. You will produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and, if necessary, liaise with external verifiers/moderators. As our Lecturer, you will hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards) and be recognised as a good or outstanding teacher. A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant area of Art and Design is essential as is a thorough understanding of evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment and the ability to reflect on your practice and implement innovative approaches.
