Temporary Medical Secretary | Immediate Start

Location: Cobham, Surrey,

Pay Rate: -13.00 - -14.00 per hour (DOB)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Secretary to join a busy GP Practice based in Cobham on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous GP Practice or public health care experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

Duties will include:

• Audio typing and preparation of medical correspondence
• Managing referrals and referral pathways
• Processing medical and insurance reports
• Monitoring and responding to emails
• General administrative support
• Liaising with patients and healthcare professionals
• Supporting a team of approximately 10 GPs
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation

Systems experience required:

• EMIS
• Docman 10
• e-Referral System
• IGPR
• SARS

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous Medical Secretary experience
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent typing and communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience working within a GP Practice or public health care environment
• The ability to manage a busy workload and work independently
