Overview

Test Analyst Role has to be based in the UK. The role is to support a Programme in the transition and transformation of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) network connectivity. Any experience of working on National Grid would be advantageous but not essential.Responsibilities

Create test scripts from Test Plans / Low Level Designs for Network infrastructure (Routers / switches / firewalls)Understand Test phases purposes: Unit, System Integration, Functional, Non-Functional, Disaster recovery, Operation AcceptanceImport test cases to ALM and link to requirementsCollect Test execution evidence, Reporting execution / defect in ALMPractical skills

Cisco Switch / Router console commandsHandling Fibre optic cablesUnderstanding of Data Centre operating proceduresSet up network test equipment for RFC 2544 testingNetwork and Service Management tool set (e.g. StableNet)Knowledge

Interpret Network infrastructure design from HLD/LLDALM Test case management, Defect Management, ReportingRequirements

SC ClearedHybrid but with occasional customer site visits required and also Newbury HQ to liaise with wider Test team.Farnborough, Bath, Oxford, Warwick, BirminghamSeniority level
