SEND Teacher - PE Specialism

Salary: -29,702.40 - -46,519.20 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week

Simply Education are excited to be working with a specialist SEND setting in High Wycombe, supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher with a PE specialism to deliver high-quality, personalised teaching in a nurturing and supportive environment.

The setting offers very small class sizes, with some provisions supporting no more than three pupils per class, allowing teachers to build strong relationships and tailor learning to individual needs.

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that meet a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Develop personalised learning pathways based on individual needs and targets.
• Support pupils with complex SEND and challenging behaviours to achieve positive outcomes.
• Encourage independence, confidence and active engagement in learning.
• Prepare appropriate teaching materials and safely manage equipment and resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consistent and supportive approach.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour and professional practice.

• QTS or QTLS is essential.
• Minimum 2 years'' experience working within a SEND environment, specialist unit or similar provision.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEND and complex needs.
• Experience managing and supporting challenging behaviour.
• A flexible, patient and inclusive approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to develop personalised and engaging learning experiences.
