We''re working with a leading construction contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to join their project team on a temp-to-perm basis. This opportunity offers the chance to become a key part of a busy site team, working closely with the Design Manager and Project Manager on a major construction project.

The successful candidate must have strong hands-on experience using Aconex and be confident managing document control processes from project set-up through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the Aconex document control system.
• Develop, maintain and update document control protocols.
• Set up and manage workflows within Aconex.
• Issue and manage drawing transmittals.
• Maintain and monitor RFI registers.
• Manage key project registers, including:
  • Information Release Schedule (IRS)
  • Design Responsibility Matrix (DRM)
  • Sample Trackers
  • Other project-specific document registers
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant with company procedures.
• Work closely with the Design Manager, Project Manager and wider project team to ensure the smooth flow of project information.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Aconex is essential.
• Experience setting up Aconex systems, workflows and project protocols.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
