Labourer

Location:-Cramlington, Northumberland
Job Type:-Full-time, Permanent
Salary:14.62ph (40hpw min)

Introduction

Our client, a well-established local construction company, is delivering a project in Cramlington and is seeking a dependable Labourer to become part of their expanding team.

Objectives

As an important member of the team, you will work within a newly constructed building, supporting a range of trades throughout the fit-out phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

As a labourer, you will be:

• Keeping the site clean, safe, and tidy, including sweeping and general housekeeping duties.
• Fetching, carrying, and distributing materials to various work areas.
• Assisting tradespeople with basic installation tasks, such as helping to fit brackets and fixtures.
• Loading and unloading deliveries as required.
• Removing waste materials and maintaining clear access routes.
• Supporting the site team with general labouring duties to ensure work progresses efficiently.

Requirements - What We''re Looking For

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

• Valid CSCS card
• Safety boots and suitable workwear (no tracksuits or hoodies)
• High-visibility clothing and additional PPE will be provided
• Good level of physical fitness (role involves manual labour)
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Working Hours

• 45 Hours per week.
