Senior EstimatorA leading main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team. The business delivers a broad range of construction projects through established public sector frameworks across sectors including education, healthcare, residential, local authority, refurbishment and infrastructure. Offering a secure pipeline of work and excellent career progression, this is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Senior Estimator.Senior Estimator roles and responsibilitiesLead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for new build and refurbishment projects.Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify project requirements and risks.Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accurate pricing.Develop cost plans, budgets and value engineering solutions.Liaise with operational, commercial and design teams throughout the bid process.Attend client meetings, site visits and tender interviews.Manage multiple tender opportunities simultaneously while meeting submission deadlines.Senior Estimator requirementsPrevious experience as a Senior Estimator or experienced Estimator working for a main contractor.Strong knowledge of construction estimating and tendering procedures.Experience pricing public sector, education, healthcare, residential or commercial projects.Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.Ability to interpret technical drawings and ..... full job details .....
