Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to join a dynamic and friendly accountancy practice in the heart of Worcester?
 
Our client, a proactive firm of accountants, is seeking a confident and capable Bookkeeper to manage a small portfolio of clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with excellent working conditions and flexibility.
 
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
• Management accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Exposure to Self Assessment Tax Returns for sole proprietors
• Occasional payroll support
• Liaising with clients to resolve day-to-day queries

Bookkeeper profile:

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice (preferred)
• AAT/ICB qualified or QBE (qualified by experience)
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Proactive, self-motivated and commercially aware
• Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Own transport required for client visits

Tech Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Xero, Iris, QuickBooks and Brightpay (desirable)
