Assistant Head of Department - Supported LearningLocation: CambridgeshireSalary: 41,500 - 46,500 per annumContract: PermanentAre you an experienced FE SEND/Inclusion professional ready for your next leadership opportunity?We are recruiting for an Assistant Head of Department - Supported Learning to join an FE provider in Area .This is a key leadership role supporting the Head of Department and leading the effective coordination of learning support for students with SEND and High Needs.The RoleYou will:Lead and coordinate Learning Support provision across the departmentManage and develop Learning Support Mentors and staffAllocate support and manage learning support timetablesSupport EHCP reviews, personalised curricula and student progressLead on inclusive practice and reasonable adjustmentsSupport quality assurance, learning walks and deep-dive activitiesDeputise for the Head of Department when requiredWork with parents, schools, local authorities and external SEND stakeholdersIdentify staff development needs and support inclusive teaching practiceAbout YouWe are looking for someone with:Strong Further Education experienceExtensive experience working within SEND, High Needs, Inclusion or Learning SupportExperience leading, managing or coordinating a teamStrong knowledge of EHCPs, reasonable adjustments and personalised learningExperience working with external SEND stakeholdersA relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, DET or equivalentExcellent ..... full job details .....
