Our client has an opportunity for a Tooling Design Engineer to join them on a 6 month contract with possible extension.Role: Tooling Design Engineer Location: Bolton - 2 days onsite as a minimum Hourly Rate: 50 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 Clearance: SC required to start - UK Eyes Only due to project Hours: 37 hours per weekWhat you''ll be doing:Deliver practical and innovative tool design solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goalsRe-engineer existing solutions updating models, configuration and associated documentation.Manage your own project timelines and priorities ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Requirements:Ideally HNC/HND qualified with significant experience in Tool Design and DefinitionMust have a significant amount of 3D modelling experience and be able to assess 3D models for their quality. Experience in 3D annotations would be a distinct advantage (preferably CREO)Ability to translate design intent from 3D models into high quality 2D/3D definitions (preferably CREO)Strong background in the production of engineering drawings with high attention to detailKnowledge of BS8888 Technical product documentation and specification, ISO 1101 Geometrical product specifications, ISO 5459 Datum and datum systems and similar standards and GD and TGreat communication skills with the drive and initiative to influence a network of stakeholdersIf you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the ..... full job details .....
