I am currently helping a client in sourcing a strong Infrastructure Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day IT infrastructure; making sure the Network/Servers are reliable, secure, and support the business as it grows. Working closely with the Group ITD and senior leaders, you ll help deliver the IT roadmap while managing daily operations, projects, and third-party suppliers.Duties/Responsibilities; Running IT Infrastructure across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user supportActing as an escalation point from the IT Support teamEnsuring systems are secure, stable, and performing wellLeading and supporting the IT operations and IT support teamHelping deliver projects from a technical and from a project management frontPutting practical IT processes and best practices in placeMonitoring systems, responding to incidents, and driving issues through to resolutionPlanning and delivering upgrades, patching and maintenanceSupporting the relationships with suppliers, contracts, and SLAsTracking KPIs, reporting on performance, and improving operational efficiencyHelping with IT budgets and resources Ideal Background; Hands-on experience in infrastructure, in particular Network and ServerExperience leading or managing a teamStrong technical knowledge across networks, servers, operating systems, and cloud platforms (Azure/365, Hyper-V, Microsoft server technologies, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS)Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL is a plus)A practical ..... full job details .....
