We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to support a busy finance team within a values-driven organisation that provides services to adults with additional needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process payroll using Sage Payroll, including starters, leavers, amendments, absences, and statutory paymentsMaintain payroll records and complete HMRC submissionsProduce payroll reports, process deductions, and handle staff queriesSupport finance operations across purchase, sales, and nominal ledgersPost journals, accruals, and prepaymentsReconcile payroll, bank, and cash accountsProcess BACS payments and manage daily cashbook entries (Sage Line 50)Administer petty cash and credit card transactionsAssist with audits and year-end processesRequirementsProven payroll experienceWorking knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage PayrollStrong IT skills and attention to detailReliable, confidential, and team-orientedCommitted to equality, diversity, and respectful practiceDesirable:Understanding of finance systems and ..... full job details .....
