Hoppers was founded by JKS Restaurants and Karan Gokani in October 2015. The first Hoppers in Soho was inspired by toddy shops, home cooking and roadside stalls of Sri Lanka and South India, and served its namesake Hoppers alongside Dosas, Kothu, Short Eats, Rice and Roasts. The acclaim soon followed with reviews from London Evenings Standards Fay Maschler and the late Sunday Times critic A.A. Gill who applauded Hoppers for its seductive, comehither menu and spectacular, impressive, authentic, confident and swaggering kitchen.The restaurant went on to secure its Michelin Bib Gourmand in its first year.Following the success of Hoppers Soho, a second Hoppers at Marylebones St Christophers Place, themed around the iconic Tropical Modernist movement of the late Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, opening in September 2017. Hoppers Kings Cross, the third and largest of the three restaurants opened in February 2020 inspired by the much-travelled coastal journey from Colombo, the islands capital, to the historical Dutch town of Galle.In the past nine years Hoppers has won several awards and is recognised as one of the leading South Asian restaurant brands in the UK and internationally. Responsibilities include :Running our social channels - planning, writing, posting, community management and reportingManaging and developing our CRM, email and loyalty marketing strategyManaging and evolving our website and digital presenceManaging creative content and campaigns with our Junior Content CreatorSupporting delivery, e-commerce and bookings performanceOwning reporting and insights across all channelsRequired Skills and Experience:Proven experience in a Marketing Exec role in hospitality, food or lifestyleA strong grasp of social, digital and CRM best practicesA creative thinker with great attention to detailConfident copywriting and a good design eyeExperience with tools like Meta, Google, Canva, SevenRooms, Deliveroo, CRM and CMS platformsHappy juggling projects in a fast-paced environment with a small, passionate teamDriven, adaptable and excited to grow as we doBenefits and Culture
