CarmichaelUK is recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major package of works on HS2 in Buckinghamshire. This role is ideal for engineers with earthworks experience looking to work on one of the UK s most prestigious infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support junior engineers on-site Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to coordinate labour, plant and materials Manage setting-out and engineering control Ensure compliance with programme, budget, and safety standards Resolve technical issues with the senior team and Sub Agent Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contract compliance Support with progress reporting, cost planning and forecasting Promote a "Right First Time" and collaborative team culture About You: HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar Experience in structures, highways, earthworks, or drainage Strong setting-out and site supervision background SMSTS or SSSTS, and relevant CSCS card (White/Gold/Black) Full UK driving licence and own transport (site is remote) Working towards or member of ICE desirable ..... full job details .....
