About the Team The Future Presidencies Unit sits in the Global Issues and Governance (GIG) team, promoting and protecting HMT''s interests internationally through major multilateral economic forum. It is a relatively new team leading the policy development and delivery of the Finance Tracks for future UK Presidencies of multilateral organisations, with it confirmed that the UK will host the G7 in 2028 and expected that we will host the G20 soon. Both the G7 and G20 are led by a presidency country which rotates year on year, with responsibility for setting the agenda of that year, hosting meetings, delivering consensus across shared priorities. About the Job Key accountabilities for this role will include: Delivery lead for in-person and virtual events for the Finance Track, including budget oversight to ensure value for money, management of contractors and end-to-end event management.
