Full Stack Mobile Engineer About the Role We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Mobile Engineer to join our mobile application development team. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, testers and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality digital products used by thousands of learners and driving instructors across the UK. The role has a strong focus on Java backend development, REST API development, database integration and end-to-end software delivery. Experience with Flutter is desirable, while knowledge of AWS and Sitecore would be advantageous. You will take ownership of features from discovery through implementation, deployment and production support. You will also contribute to modern engineering practices and the responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy and support full-stack mobile application features. Develop scalable and maintainable backend services using Java. Design and develop RESTful APIs connecting mobile applications with backend services. Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases, content management systems and third-party services. Contribute to mobile application development using Flutter and Dart where required. Take ownership of features from discovery and requirements gathering through to production support.
