Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based out of its London branch and offering you the chance to take your career to the next level! Roles and Responsibilities: Manage the overall commercial function across a variety of diverse projects. Produce monthly applications for payment (AFP). Prepare and submit project variations and general change management. Prepare and submit month-end reports after monitoring and analysing monthly cost reports. Attend meetings where necessary to progress or agree project accounts. Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Become familiar with standard forms of contract including but not limited to NEC3 and JCT. Negotiate subcontract terms and conditions with our clients and contractors. Prepare subcontracts, valuation of works executed by subcontractors, and certify interim and final payments. Maximise cash flow through control, measurement, valuation of work, invoicing and cash collection. Key Skills and Qualifications Relevant qualification whether Degree, HNC, or NVQ in Quantity Surveying (Preferred). Able to manage commercial functions on projects independently. A good understanding of electrical systems is preferred but not essential. Strong IT skills, confident in the use of MS Office and in particular, Excel.
