We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Disrepair Surveyor to join our team, covering East London. This is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to a confident professional who can manage cases independently from start to finish. The Role You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of disrepair and adaptation referrals, overseeing works through the full lifecycle from initial inspection to post-completion inspection. Key responsibilities include: Managing your own diary across site visits and the Poplar office (4 days per week) Working from home 1 day per week Picking up cases and seeing them through from start to finish Fully understanding and managing the disrepair process Assessing properties and specifying required works Commissioning works and overseeing contractors on site Ensuring cases are taken through to post-completion inspection Liaising confidently and assertively with contractors and stakeholders Handling a mix of disrepair cases and adaptation referrals About You You will be a proactive, organised surveyor with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to manage contractors and cases independently.
