SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Canterbury, Kent £440 - £550 Per Week Academics is currently seeking a dedicated Sen Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a student in a home setting in the Canterbury area. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs, offering personalised academic and emotional support outside of a school environment. The Role As a sen teaching assistant, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet the student''s individual learning needs Support engagement, confidence, and emotional regulation Follow guidance from education professionals and EHCP targets Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment Work closely with Academics to ensure consistent support Requirements The successful sen teaching assistant will: Have experience working with SEN students (essential) Be confident using assistive technology to support learning and engagement Demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability Be comfortable supporting learning in a home-based setting Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one) Be able to travel to Canterbury If you are a sen teaching assistant looking for a meaningful role supporting a student in a home setting, we would love to hear from ..... full job details .....
