You will be joining a fast-pace environment assisting in finding logistics solutions for some of the world''s largest industrial, retail and FMCG based customers. My client focuses on searching air freight, sea freight and road freight solutions, which are both cost effective and time sensitive. Job Description As a European Road Freight Controller you will report in to the Road and European Freight Manager on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the following areas for responsibility across the Lichfield, West Midlands office: Managing the pricing, quoting, booking and file monitoring of freight across import and export road freight to and from EU, Switzerland and Turkey. The business is mixed across groupage services, full-loads and part-loads. Responsible for preparing road freight pricing and customer quotations - informing about the freight prices, port charges, cost of special documents, insurance prices as well as prices for handling the goods.
