Data Solution Architect Remote working £650-675/day overall assignment rate to umbrella 3-month initial contract Working with a market leading client who have a requirement for a Data Solution Architect to design, lead and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms. This role requires deep expertise in data architecture, dimensional data modelling (Kimball) and modern cloud-based data ecosystems (ideally Databricks). Core Technical Expertise Strong experience in data solution architecture within enterprise environments Proven hands-on expertise in data warehousing concepts and implementation Deep knowledge of Kimball dimensional modelling methodology. Platforms and Tools Experience with Databricks (preferred) or similar platforms: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, or equivalent Strong proficiency with: SQL (advanced level) Spark / PySpark Data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, ADF, etc.) Data Modelling Extensive experience designing: Fact and dimension tables Star and snowflake schemas Aggregation layers and semantic models Data Migration and Mapping Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale data migration projects Strong capability in: Source-to-target mapping Data transformation design Data reconciliation and validation techniques Cloud and Architecture Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Understanding of lakehouse architectures and hybrid data platforms Desirable Experience with medallion ..... full job details .....
