We are seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Dover starting April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with SEMH needs in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Role Overview:
You will teach small classes of up to 6 pupils in the primary sector, tailoring lessons to meet the unique educational and emotional needs of students. You will work closely with the Head Teacher and Leadership Team to deliver a differentiated curriculum, assess student progress, and contribute to the development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
• Assess and record student progress, providing oral and written feedback.
• Promote the well-being of students, offering guidance on educational and social matters.
• Work collaboratively with care staff, foster carers, and parents.
• Support the schoolandrsquo;s Positive Relationships and Team Teach strategies (training provided).
• Contribute to a positive school ethos and engage in professional development.

What We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with experience working with SEMH students.
• Passionate about supporting studentsandrsquo; social, emotional, and academic development.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to professional development and improving student outcomes.
