Bright Star Talent is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated-History Teacher-to work at a high school in Birmingham City Centre.

The Role

Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to secondary school students.

Teach a range of historical topics in line with the school curriculum.

Encourage students to develop their historical knowledge, analytical skills and critical thinking.

Adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities.

Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Experience teaching History at secondary school level.

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

A positive, flexible and professional approach.

A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students.

A valid DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.
