CNC Operator Location: Dartford Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Overtime: Available (not guaranteed) About the Role Our Client is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join their growing engineering team in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to work within a precision manufacturing environment, producing high-quality components to exacting standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, working across both 3-axis and 5-axis equipment. This role requires a strong technical understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately from engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines. Work with both 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres. Produce precision-engineered components to specification. Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings. Understand and apply geometric dimensions and tolerances (GDandT). Carry out inspections using a variety of measuring equipment. Select and utilise appropriate cutting tools for efficient machining processes. Work in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
