This position is on behalf of one of our top clients, a leading contractor known for delivering high-quality construction and engineering projects across the UK. The Role: As a Freelance Senior Engineer, your responsibilities will include setting out the project, overseeing junior engineers, and managing the necessary paperwork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to bring their engineering expertise to a challenging project. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing all engineering aspects of Groundworks and RC Frame construction. Setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis. Managing a team of engineers, providing guidance, and ensuring high quality of work. Monitoring progress, ensuring that work is on schedule and within budget. Completing all necessary paperwork, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and project managers.
