Legal Counsel – Commercial (Technology and Outsourcing), Senior Vice President. London (Hybrid working).Are you a qualified lawyer with significant experience relating to Commercial Law, complex technology and outsourcing contracts? This permanent role offers the opportunity to work for a well-regarded financial services organisation, with a collaborative environment and opportunities to develop your skills.The role involves engaging in negotiations of vendor contracts focusing primarily on complex technology procurement, as well as agreements for procurement of other goods and services including consulting services, business process outsourcing, and information technology-related services.Key responsibilities

Negotiate and draft complex technology procurement contracts and related outsourcing transactions, including software licensing, development agreements, and IT services.Lead negotiations with vendors and service providers; provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders.Ensure compliance with regulatory guidance on outsourcing and third-party relationships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliant, risk-managed contracting solutions.Qualifications

Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience from a well-regarded law school and law firm, or financial institution.Legal degree with experience negotiating software licensing and development contracts, technology and business outsourcing transactions.Demonstrable ability to quickly analyse problems and devise appropriate solutions.Knowledge of regulatory guidance on outsourcing and third-party relationships.Knowledge of global privacy laws would be beneficial.Seniority level
