Health-and-Safety-Advisor

We-are-seeking-an-experienced-Health-and-Safety-Advisor-to-provide-specialist-advice-and-guidance-across-a-range-of-office-based-and-operational-services.

The-successful-candidate-will-support-the-development-and-implementation-of-health-and-safety-policies,-procedures-and-risk-assessments,-while-ensuring-compliance-with-current-legislation-and-best-practice.-You-will-undertake-audits,-inspections-and-accident-investigations,-provide-training-and-advice-to-managers-and-staff,-and-support-continuous-improvement-across-the-organisation.

Key-Responsibilities

• Provide-expert-health-and-safety-advice-and-guidance-to-managers-and-staff.
• Develop,-review-and-monitor-health-and-safety-policies,-procedures-and-risk-assessments.
• Undertake-health-and-safety-audits,-inspections-and-accident-investigations.
• Monitor-compliance-with-legislation,-regulations-and-best-practice.
• Coordinate-and-deliver-health-and-safety-training-where-required.
• Produce-accident,-incident-and-health-and-safety-reports-and-recommendations.
• Work-with-managers-and-contractors-to-improve-health-and-safety-standards.

Applicants-should-have-strong-knowledge-of-health-and-safety-legislation-and-best-practice,-with-IOSH-Tech-Membership-and-a-NEBOSH-General-Certificate-(or-equivalent).-Excellent-communication,-organisational-and-ICT-skills-are-essential,-along-with-a-full-driving-licence.
