Finance Manager, Plymouth, Up to 40k (DOE) My Client, a well established (5 decades), growing family owned business in Plymouth, is looking for a highly competent and experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the financial operations and manage the team of 3 (AR, AP). This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious Finance Manager who aspires to be a Financial Controller in the future. As you would expect responsibilities include the following:- Financial Reporting: Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate production of monthly financial statements (PandL, balance sheet, cash flow). Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insightful reports to management. Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other key accounting functions. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes. Team Management: Manage and mentor a small finance team, providing guidance and support.
