Trial Balance are delighted to be exclusively working with an existing client, a fast-growing construction business with ambitious plans for the future, who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a part-time and contract basis. Working three days per week, with a generous approach to hybrid working, you''ll support the Head of Finance (also introduced by Trial Balance) across management accounting, project accounting, cash flow, budgeting and financial reporting. This role is offered as a 12-month contract, however the continued growth of the business means that there is a possibility that this role could become permanent. As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include: - Preparing quarterly management accounts and producing financial performance reports for senior leadership - Providing analysis and insight into financial performance, including monitoring budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure - Taking responsibility for project accounting across multiple schemes, monitoring budgets and highlighting financial risks - Managing short-term cash flow and supporting effective financial planning - Preparing VAT returns and overseeing wider tax and compliance ..... full job details .....
