We are the market leading contract packer for Speciality Teas in the UK. The team are focused, friendly, and highly professional. We are looking for a first-class Production Operator/Technician. Hours - Early Shift: 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday. Salary - dependant upon experience. You must have, and be able to provide proof of, your right to work in the UK full time (37.5 hours per week). You may be asked to provide your share code, and date of birth. JOB SUMMARY: Take responsibility for your production area during the shift; to ensure that goods are produced to the highest quality standards in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Always achieve the highest standards in Health and Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Cost. To maximize profitability through the control of batch yields, of out of life reduction, shortages, waste and complaints. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure the highest quality and food safety standards are embedded during your shift. Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and good housekeeping are maintained during your shift (GMP Good Manufacturing Practices).
