Assistant Quantity Surveyor Residential Groundworks and Civils We are currently seeking an ambitious and proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and reputable contractor specialising in residential groundworks and civils. If you''re looking to develop your career within a supportive environment and work on residential housing developments valued up to £20M, this is the opportunity for you. The Role You will be working closely with two experienced Quantity Surveyors across housing projects ranging from 80 to 400 units. This is an ideal role for a degree-qualified Assistant Quantity Surveyor with some prior experience in residential groundworks or civil engineering. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the commercial team with the delivery of multiple residential projects Assisting with cost planning, valuations, and variations Helping to manage subcontractor packages and payments Involvement in estimating and procurement where required Progressing towards independently managing your own projects What We re Looking For We re keen to speak to candidates who are: Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar Experienced (even minimally) within residential groundworks and/or civil engineering Self-sufficient and proactive with strong communication skills Comfortable supporting senior QSs and keen to take on more responsibility over time Willing to get involved in estimating and buying as the business requires What s On Offer A competitive ..... full job details .....
