IT Support Technician

• Annual Salary: -30,000 35,000
• Location: Weybridge - parking available
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (35 hours per week, Mon-Sun)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide first-level support for users, including issues with Windows, Office, and general end-user IT enquiries.
• Set up and deploy laptops and desktops, ensuring all assets are tracked and stock control is maintained.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary.
• Handle simple user/admin tasks in Active Directory.
• Support HR with the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
• Provide IT induction for all new starters and help coordinate global software rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, taking care of your own health and safety and that of others.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of real-life IT support experience, assisting actual users.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office / 365.
• General end-user troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Desirable skills include Cisco Webex, Cisco Meraki / Cisco switching, and VMware.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable, eager to learn, and thrives in dynamic environments.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
• Takes active responsibility and ownership of tasks, maintaining high standards with a detail-oriented approach.
• Fantastic team player with a natural ''can do'' attitude.
