Early Years Teaching Assistant - Level 2

Tradewind are supporting a two form entry primary school based near the Warlingham area, who require an Early Years Teaching Assistant with at least a Level 2 qualification and paediatric first aid trained.

The position is supporting in their Nursery class, providing support across their Early Years department. The hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm.

We are looking for caring and proactive individuals who can support young children during these vital early stages of development. This role will involve supporting learning through play, assisting with phonics and early communication, encouraging social and emotional development, and providing tailored support for children with additional needs.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 qualification MINIMUM
  
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
  
• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE)
  
• Level 3 Diploma in Children''s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)
  
• Level 3 NVQ in Children''s Care, Learning and Development
  
• Level 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy - Birth to 7
  
• Level 3 Diploma in Playwork
  
• Level 3 Award/Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STLS)
  

Pay: -93 per day for candidates with a minimum of 3 months experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting. -100 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 12 months previous experience supporting pupils with SEND including ASc, ADHD, SEMH or SLD or experience with personal care.
