About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and visually creative
AML Analytics Specialist
with expertise in Power BI or Tableau to join our remote UK-based team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging data visualization to support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance efforts.
You will be responsible for designing intuitive, impactful dashboards and reports that turn complex compliance data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Your visual storytelling will play a crucial role in supporting regulatory obligations, risk assessments, and strategic compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and visual reports using Power BI or TableauTransform complex AML and financial crime data into clear, insightful visualizationsWork with compliance teams to interpret AML regulations, detection scenarios, and risk models through dataDeliver data-driven insights that shape and guide compliance strategies and decision-makingEnsure accuracy, clarity, and compliance within all analytics outputsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and enhance user experience
Requirements:Proven experience in AML or financial crime analytics, with a strong visualization portfolioAdvanced skills in
Power BI
or
Tableau , including data modeling, DAX/calculations, and interactivity featuresSolid understanding of AML regulatory requirements, typologies, and risk assessment methodologiesAbility to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong attention to detail and a user-centered approach to dashboard design
Nice to Have:Familiarity with SQL or data engineering conceptsExperience working in regulated financial environments or with compliance teamsUnderstanding of data governance and quality frameworks
