Location: Woolpit, Suffolk

Salary: -58,000 + Electric Company Car

This opportunity gives you the chance to take ownership from day one. You''ll manage engineering projects from initial enquiry through to completion, working directly with customers and having the autonomy to make decisions that genuinely influence delivery.

You''ll join a well-established engineering business delivering high-quality pipework and fabrication projects across pharmaceutical, chemical and manufacturing environments. The work is varied, technically interesting and visible. You''ll see projects through from quotation and planning to installation and final handover.

What you''ll be doing

• Taking full ownership of engineering projects from enquiry through to completion
• Meeting customers on site to understand requirements and develop practical solutions
• Preparing quotations and project plans
• Managing project programmes using Primavera P6 or similar planning software
• Coordinating workshop fabrication and site installation teams
• Managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors
• Building long-term relationships with customers
• Solving technical and delivery challenges before they become problems
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

What we''re looking for

You''ll already have experience managing engineering or mechanical projects and be comfortable dealing directly with customers.

You''ll ideally have experience within:

• Mechanical engineering, fabrication or industrial pipework
• Project planning using Primavera P6 or similar software
• Quoting and commercial awareness
• Welding and fabrication environments
• Reading engineering drawings and CAD documentation
• Working with ERP systems

Experience within pharmaceutical, chemical or regulated manufacturing industries would be advantageous but isn''t essential.
