Vision Talent Solutions is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming Further Education College in Mansfield on a part-time, temporary basis with an immediate start available.

This role will involve supporting students with physical disabilities, helping them to access learning, participate fully in college life, and achieve their educational goals. The college regularly requires additional support staff throughout the academic year, making this an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door and build a relationship with a college that frequently has future opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and classroom-based support to learners with physical disabilities.
• Assist students with mobility and personal care requirements where required.
• Use safe manual handling techniques when supporting learners.
• Encourage independence and promote student engagement in learning.
• Work closely with teaching staff and support teams to ensure learners receive the support they need.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

Please note: Manual Handling training is a non-negotiable requirement for this role. CVs will not be considered without it.

• Previous experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities within an educational setting.
• Current or recent Manual Handling training.
• A patient, caring, and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
