I''m currently working with a highly respected, award-winning civil and structural engineering consultancy in central London, who are looking to add a Civil Design Engineer to their growing team.

• Prepare flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
• Design surface and foul water drainage systems, including SUDS
• Carry out earthwork volume calculationsPrepare Section 104, 106, 38 and 278 submissions
• Coordinate build-over agreements
• Use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage

You''ll be working on your own smaller projects while supporting larger schemes under the guidance of experienced senior engineers. There''s a good balance of autonomy and support here, ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

• 3-5 years experience in a similar civil engineering design role
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Experience with drainage design software (MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow)
• Solid understanding of UK design and approval processes
• Ideally degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
