TIG Welder

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (commutable from High Wycombe, Leighton Buzzard, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Tring, Hemel Hempstead, Princes Risborough and surrounding areas)

Salary: £33,207 - £35,350 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Duration: Permanent

TIG Welder Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding and fabrication work

• Read and interpret engineering drawings (Third Angle Projection)

• Manufacture components to required quality standards

• Work to coded welding procedures

• Carry out MPI and dye penetrant inspections where required

• Complete job bookings and production records using the MRP system

• Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards

• Follow quality procedures and report any defects promptly

• Work safely in line with company Health & Safety procedures

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production

TIG Welder Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' TIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment

• Current or previous coded welding experience

• Confident reading engineering drawings

• Fabrication experience

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is beneficial

• Basic computer skills
