A well-established UK recycling and end-of-life asset management organisation is seeking a Head of Department - End-of-Life Asset Management (Distribution Transformers) to support continued business growth. This is a senior operational role within a stable, long-standing business working with utility and commercial clients.Hours: Monday-Friday 07:00-17:00, Saturday 07:00-12:00 (flexible/site-based) Salary: 35,000- 40,000 per annumKey ResponsibilitiesOversee receipt, processing, decontamination and oil recovery of end-of-life distribution transformersManage asset tracking, inspection, sampling and documentation with 100% data complianceEnsure compliance with environmental, health and safety and waste regulationsLead and develop a small operational teamMonitor KPIs, stock balances, maintenance schedules and subcontractor activityPrepare operational and client reports and identify process improvementsRequirementsSupervisory or management experience in end-of-life asset management or a related industryStrong understanding of HandS and environmental complianceExperience managing small teams and operational dataConfident communicator with good reporting and organisational skillsDesirableEngineering or environmental qualificationKnowledge of hazardous waste regulationsIOSH/NEBOSH certificationBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceNo shift workOn-site parkingPension schemeTo find out more, please call Adam or Scott on (phone number removed)INDENGPlanet Recruitment acts as an ..... full job details .....
