Job Title: School Sports CoachLocation: Blyth, NorthumberlandSalary: 14.24 to 16.96 per hourShift Pattern: 8:30 to 16:30 - Monday to Friday - Term Time OnlyCER Education are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant with Sports Coaching experience to work in one of our partner SEN schools in Blyth, Northumberland.The school is an alternative provision for students with special educational needs (SEN), including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).Requirements:You must have at least 3 months'' relevant experience to apply for the role, this could include experience within sports coaching, football coaching, fitness, residential or SEMH settingsApplications from graduates in relevant fields including Sports Coaching, Sport and Development, Level 3 in Sport are encouragedA Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is not required, but applicants with these qualifications are strongly encouraged to applyRoles and Responsibilities:Provide individualised support to students, mainly between the ages of 11 and 19 years old with SEMH, ASD or ADHDWork closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored interventions and support strategiesFoster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and confidenceAssist with the implementation of Individual Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs)Support students in both academic and social development, ..... full job details .....
