Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a role where you can develop your technical skills, take ownership of engineering improvements and build a long-term career with a global business? The Role

You’ll join a team of experienced Maintenance Engineers working on a wide range of automated material-handling equipment, including:

• Automated cranes
• Roller and chain conveyors
• Lift tables
• Rotation tables
• Shuttle cars
• Motors and gearboxes
• Sensors and control panels

The role is approximately 75% planned preventative and 25% reactive maintenance, giving you the opportunity to work proactively while still getting involved in hands-on fault finding on a range of mechanical and electrical components across the site

What You''ll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across highly automated equipment
• Responding to reactive breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding
• Working across both electrical and mechanical systems
• Inspecting, cleaning and lubricating mechanical components
• Diagnosing faults involving motors, sensors, control panels and conveyors
• Working with chains, sprockets, bearings and gearboxes
• Carrying out basic PLC diagnostics and checking I/O on Siemens S7 systems
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting root cause analysis and helping to prevent repeat failures
• Working closely with operators to maintain equipment reliability

What We''re Looking For

We''re looking for someone who is confident working in an automated environment and enjoys getting hands-on with both electrical and mechanical equipment.

You''ll ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years'' experience working in an automated environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• An understanding of PLCs, ideally Siemens S7
• A genuine passion for engineering and continuous improvement
