Service Manager - Lift Industry

I''m recruiting for a well-established and growing lift business with a strong focus on service quality, customer relationships and developing its people.

They''re looking for an experienced Service Manager to take ownership of the service operation and play a key role in the next stage of the company''s growth.

This isn''t a purely desk-based management role. You''ll be leading the service team, supporting engineers in the field, dealing with clients and having genuine input into how the department operates and develops.

You''ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service Department, including:

• Leading and managing Lift Service Engineers and Service Coordinators
• Planning and overseeing PPM, reactive callouts and breakdowns
• Managing lift shutdowns and ensuring issues are followed through to resolution
• Monitoring engineer workloads, performance and service KPIs
• Supporting engineers with technical, operational and safety requirements

Lift industry Service Management experience is essential.

You''ll be an experienced Service Manager who understands the demands of running a lift service operation and knows how to get the best from an engineering team.

You''ll be a strong communicator, organised and commercially aware, with the confidence to deal with engineers, clients and senior management.
