NXTGEN are delighted to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established manufacturing business on an initial 6-month Temp contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team during an exciting period of growth and change, supporting a high-volume accounts payable function while gaining exposure to a fast-paced operational environment.Working closely with the wider finance team, you''ll play a key role in ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintaining strong supplier relationships and helping to keep day-to-day finance operations running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, batching and coding invoicesReconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queriesPreparing payment runsLiaising with suppliers and internal departments to investigate discrepanciesMaintaining accurate supplier recordsAssisting with month-end purchase ledger activitiesSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as requiredAbout YouPrevious experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable roleComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationshipsGood systems knowledge, including ExcelAble to work independently whilst contributing as part of a wider teamWhat''s on OfferInitial 6-month Temp contractOpportunity to ..... full job details .....
